Taking the plunge

Having recently read an old article on BBC about  the rise and rise of the 'mummy bloggers', I've decided to take the plunge and join the bandwagon. Of course that is easier said than done as I'm a complete novice at blogging and utterly useless at making myself sound coherent.

On top of that, I have to decide on what to blog about other than my journeys of being a mother, a wife and stay at home mum. Surely there are lots of topics I can cover other than my mundane life like how I aspire to be a yummy mummy but truth be told, who has the energy and  the time? These days, I barely get out of my comfy top & pants and looks more and more like a crazy cat lady with questionable personal hygiene!

Born with a competitive streak, I can't help but wonder how I can jazz up my blog to attract more readers and make my blog popular. Then I worry about attracting weirdos, stalkers, paedophiles, etc probing into my life, reading about my family & my most intimate thoughts! Catch 22? Hmm, I wonder.

If anyone think they are going to live vicariously through my blog, I'd like to apologise in advance that my life is boring and probably not worth reading about. However, if for some reason you are reading my blog and haven't close it by now, I'd like to thank you for your time. I'd promise that I'll try to ramble less and be more coherent, but then again, what fun would that be?
